How to Use Wax Melts

  1. Choose the Right Burner
    Use a wax melt burner designed for wax melts – either ceramic (with a tealight) or electric. Avoid using oil burners unless they are also suitable for wax use, as they may overheat the wax. Shop our wax melt burners here - from handpainted and iridescent to timeless and gold burners.

  2. Add Your Wax Melt
    Place 1–2 wax melt cubes in the top dish of your burner. Never overfill – melted wax should not spill over the edge. Shop our wax melts here - from Jasmine & Vanilla to Velvet Rose & Oud, there's a scent for every home.

  3. Light 

    • For tealight burners, use an unscented 4-hour tealight only. Never use larger or multiple tealights.

  4. Enjoy the Aroma
    As the wax melts, it will release its fragrance. One melt can scent a room for 6–12 hours depending on size and scent strength.

Wax Burner Safety Tips

  • Never leave a lit burner unattended. Always extinguish the tealight or switch off before leaving the room or going to sleep.

  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable items such as curtains, books, or furniture.

  • Place your burner on a heatproof, stable surface away from draughts.

  • Do not move your burner while the wax is hot or melted.

  • Let the wax fully cool before handling or refilling.

Cleaning & Reusing

  • Reuse responsibly: Our wax melts can be reused multiple times, just relight your burner and let your chosen scent refill your room. However, the wax melts will lose fragrance over time. Once the scent fades, it’s time for a fresh one.

  • To remove old wax, let it cool completely. You can:

    • Warm the base slightly and pop out the wax,

    • Or absorb melted wax with cotton pads while warm (if safe to do so).

  • Wipe the dish with a soft cloth after each use to keep your burner clean and fresh.

Extra Tips for Best Results

  • Use wax melts in a well-ventilated room for a balanced fragrance experience.

  • Try mixing two melts for a custom scent (just ensure the total amount still fits safely).

  • Store wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their scent.
