Sip & Wick Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Sip & Wick Candle Making Classes. By booking and attending our classes, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our class.

1.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

1.3. We accept payments by credit/debit card and other methods as indicated on our website.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must provide at least 1 week's notice to receive a full refund.

2.2. Cancellations made within 1 week of the class will not be eligible for a refund, however seats can be transferred to an alternative date. 

2.3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend a rescheduled class.

3. Health and Safety

3.1. Safety instructions will be provided at the beginning of each class and must be followed at all times.

3.2. Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs at the time of booking.

3.3. We are not responsible for any injuries sustained as a result of failing to follow safety instructions.

4. Liability

4.1. Oraélia is not liable for any damage or loss of personal property during the class.

4.2. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions or injuries caused by materials used in our classes. Participants use materials at their own risk.

5. Age Restrictions

5.1. Participants must be at least 12 years old to attend our candle making classes unless accompanied by an adult.

5.2. Participants under 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian.

6. Use of Candles After Class

6.1. Candles made in our classes are for personal use only and not for resale.

6.2. Once you receive your candle, Oraélia is not liable for any damage or injury caused by the use of the candle.

6.3. Always follow the safety guidelines provided with your candle, including:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep candles away from flammable materials.
• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting.
• Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All materials, designs, and content provided in our classes are the intellectual property of Oraélia.

7.2. Participants are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or sell any content provided during the class without prior written consent from Oraélia.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will handle your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

8.2. Personal information collected during booking will be used solely for the purpose of administering your participation in the class and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Complaints and Feedback

9.1. We value your feedback and strive to provide a high-quality experience. If you have any complaints or suggestions, please contact us directly.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. 10.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By booking and attending our candle making classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
